And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24
At Annville United Christian Church, we are focused on teaching the Word of God and reaching Annville and the world with the Good News of forgiveness by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Our church promotes a number of ministries to help accomplish that mission…
Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry is dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with kids in the community. On Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., we offer a Sunday school program where kids are immersed into the story of the gospel throughout the Scriptures. On Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m., families are encouraged to gather together for worship. For kids interested in an alternative to Sunday sermons, we offer Junior Church. In the summer, we host an exciting Vacation Bible School event with Bible stories, worship, games, activities, crafts and snacks. We encourage parents to pray for and to disciple their children at home. We hope you will join this community that serves our children.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is rooted in transformative relationships and Bible study. On Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., teens have an opportunity to join middle or high school groups for a gospel centric study through the Scriptures. On Friday nights we host T.L.C. "Teens Living for Christ" fellowship meetings at the Fellowship Center. For those transitioning out o high school, on the first and third Sundays of the month, we offer a ministry named "Plugged In" at the Fellowship Center. We look forward to serving teens and young adults.
Adult Ministry
We currently offer two adult Sunday school groups at 9:15 a.m. - one for young adults and another for senior adults. Throughout the year, there are various Bible studies offered to transform and encourage hearts with the truth God's Word. Each group seeks to grow in their relationship with God and one another and to impact their world for Christ. In addition to Sunday school our adults have home groups and other activities for men and women.
Home Groups Ministry
We are in the process of revamping our home group ministries. These smaller home groups located in certain geographical locations provide opportunities for more personal relationships, prayer, fellowship and ministry in the body of Christ. This is where our people "do life together" and "encourage one-another" and "meet practical needs." If you are interested in joining a small group, stop by our "welcome center" for more information about times and locations.
Discipleship Ministry
Since Jesus commissioned his followers to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20) Annville United Christian Church has determined to develop our culture of discipleship. In the spring and fall semesters we will start new discipleship small groups. We invite you to follow Christ in obedience.
Men's Ministry
Throughout the year the United Christian Churches host various men's ministry events designed to inspire and develop mature men for leadership in the family, the workplace, and the community. All men are welcome to join us as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry plans various events throughout the year to strengthen the hearts of the women as they live boldly for the Lord. Every year, the women participate in retreats, studies, and conferences that are used to uplift their hearts and strengthen them in their daily walks with the Lord. God is at work in the lives of the women in our church, and they would love for you to join them as they journey through life together. Come to be encouraged through study and tender fellowship with our AUCC Women!
Wednesday Ministry
During regular school semesters, we offer Wednesday night fellowship meetings for the entire family. During the spring of 2024, we met on Wednesday nights for 12 weeks. The adults discussed a video series entitled "The Essential Church." The children gathered downstairs for songs, Bible lessons, games, and activities. Toward the end, everyone gathered upstairs for snacks. During the summer, on Wednesday evenings the adults have been engaged in discipleship. We hope that you will join us on Wednesdays.
Cleona Camp Meeting Ministry
Annville Church partners with other churches in the denomination in support of Cleona Camp Grove Meeting ministries. This ministry established in the late 1800s is still blessing many today. Throughout the year many events are held at the camp grounds. But one of the main events takes place in Summer. To see what events are scheduled there visit their website at https://www.cleonacampmeeting.com.
Missions Ministry
Annville United Christian Church not only serves the local community but also reaches out to the world through missions. We support missionaries such as Sam and Jessica serving in Mexico and Christine now serving in Kazakhstan. We also send groups on short-term mission trips abroad. In 2024 we sent a group of young people to Mexico to serve alongside Sam and Jessica. Come join our outreach to Annville and the world.
Journey to Bethlehem Ministry
During the Christmas holiday season, Annville United Christian Church has reached and ministered to the local community through a live outdoor event entitled "Journey to Bethlehem." In 2023, more than three thousand attended the outdoor live presentation of the story of the Savior, Jesus Christ, who came from heaven to earth to save people from their sins. We invite you to experience the journey with live actors, animals, narrations, and refreshments. What a great way for families and friends to journey with Jesus at Christmastime.
